Dota 2 Patch 7.41e was meant to clean things up, but some strange issues still managed to slip through. If you have been playing recently, you may have noticed unusual item interactions, custom-game problems, or other bugs that can make the game feel less polished than it should.
Here are some of the Dota 2 patch 7.41e bugs and odd interactions worth knowing about.
The Raindrop Surprise
One of the more interesting discoveries involves Infused Raindrops. Players noticed that multiple Raindrops now behave differently in 7.41e: when the protection triggers, only one Raindrop loses a charge instead of all active Raindrops. This appears to be an undocumented change rather than a conventional bug, but it definitely changes how players can use the item.

For players who like optimizing early-game item purchases, this is a change worth knowing.
Custom Game Shops Are Having Problems
A more serious issue affects Custom Games. A Valve bug report says that shop configuration commands can fail on dedicated servers, meaning items that should be removed or made unavailable can still appear in the shop.
This obviously isn’t something most normal matchmaking players will encounter, but for the Custom Game community, it can cause major problems.
Replay Crashes
Another problem reported since the 7.41 update involves replay controls. Players have reported Dota crashing when using the -10/+10 replay controls. The issue was reported as starting after 7.41 and remains worth watching if you regularly analyze replays.
More Hero Bugs Are Still Being Reported
Valve’s Dota 2 issue tracker also has recent reports involving hero-specific problems, including Marci’s alternate Rebound and a possible missing damage-over-time tick on Wraith King’s Wraithfire Blast. These reports are still open, so they should be treated as reported issues rather than confirmed permanent bugs.

Our Verdict
Patch 7.41e isn’t a disaster, but it isn’t completely clean either. The most interesting part is that some issues aren’t obvious until players start experimenting with item and hero interactions.
For regular matchmaking players, most of these bugs probably won’t ruin your games. For Custom Game players and people who spend time testing mechanics, however, 7.41e has a few reasons to keep an eye on future updates.
